Actress Alia Bhatt is set to join the cast of Netflix’s Heart of Stone, as she makes her global debut opposite Gal Gadot. The film will release globally on Netflix this spring, has received good reviews, with many praising her performance in the title role.
The storey follows Rachel Stone (Gal Gadot), an intelligence operative who is the only woman stands between her powerful, global peacekeeping organisation and the loss of its most valuable – and dangerous – asset.
Heart Of Stone is directed by Tom Harper. It is written by Greg Rucka and Allison Schroeder.
Heart of Stone will be produced by Skydance’s David Ellison, Dana Goldberg, Don Granger, Bonnie Curtis, Julie Lynn, Gal Gadot, Jaron Varsano. Trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to Twitter and wrote, “Alia Bhatt makes her Hollywood debut: joins Gal Gadot in Netflix film… #aliabhatt makes her global debut, joining #galgadot in #netflix’s international spy thriller #heartofstone… #tomharper is directing the pic.”
The film is produced by Skydance’s David Ellison, Dana Goldberg, and Don Granger, Mockingbird’s Bonnie Curtis and Julie Lynn, and Pilot Wave’s Gal Gadot and Jaron Varsano. The movie will also star Jamie Dornan in the lead role.
The film is said to be based on a script written by Greg Rucka and Allison Schroeder. The film’s plot and storyline are being kept under wraps.
Alia has several other projects lined up, including Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra. For the first time on screen, she will be seen with her boyfriend, actor Ranbir Kapoor. Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjuna Akkineni, and Mouni Roy will also appear in the film. On September 9, 2022, the movie will be released.
Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani, Darlings, and Jee Le Zaraa are some of Alia’s other films.
