Airtel’s broadband and mobile services seem to be down at the moment. Many users from across India have taken to Twitter to report outages in Airtel’s network. The company has not yet acknowledged the problem, but online reports indicate that it is widespread and affects both Airtel mobile internet and the company’s broadband and Wi-Fi services.
According to online reports, Airel’s app is also down right now.
As per online reports, all Airtel connections, including fibre internet, broadband, and mobile network, are down in areas such as Delhi, Mumbai, Noida, and many others. According to the outage tracker downdetector, Airtel internet has been down since around 11:30 a.m. on Friday, February 11.
According to Downdetector, approximately 3,729 users in India reported a connection outage as of 11:18AM. Many users have reported that this is the second time this month that they have encountered this problem. Airtel has not yet acknowledged the problem, but a response is expected shortly.
This comes just a few days after Airtel competitor Jio experienced a similar outage in a few parts of the Mumbai region. The Airtel outage, on the other hand, appears to be on a much larger scale, as the Downdetector outage map shows outages all over the country.
