The state recorded a sharp dip in temperature on Thursday. Naliya was the coldest with a minimum temperature of 5°C. Deesa had a minimum temperature of 7°C second coldest while Gandhinagar reaches 8°C.
Ahmedabad and Rajkot recorded the minimum temperature of 10 degrees Celsius.
The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted light to moderate rainfall and a cold wave in northwest and central India over the next 3-4 days.
The minimum temperature here will remain around the same for the next two days with cold waves and cold breeze during the daytime as predicted.
