Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSHSEB) schools have postponed board examinations for classes 10 and 12 by two weeks. The decision was made, according to the state government, to ensure that students had enough time to prepare for the exam and improve their results. The board exams for Class 10 and Class 12 were supposed to start on March 14th and end on March 30th. They will be held from March 28 to April 12, but will proceed according to the revised schedule.
He added that the new academic year for 2022-23 would begin on June 13, according to his statement. According to Vaghani, the decision is likely to benefit 32 lakh students of the state, who will have enough time to prepare for the tests.
According to a government statement, the final examination for Class 9 and Class 11 has also been extended by a similar period.The workshops were scheduled to take place from April 11 to April 21, but they were postponed until April 30.
Class 12 science students’ practical examinations have been rewritten.
The conference will now take place on March 2-12, rather than February 14-23.
Preliminaries for Classes 9–12, which were originally scheduled to take place from January 27 to February 4, have been rescheduled to take place from February 10 to February 18.
