On Saturday, the city’s minimum temperature was 12.7°C, which was one degree below normal. Similarly, the day was colder, with a temperature of 25.1°C, which was 4.5 degrees lower than normal. The minimum temperature is expected to drop to 11°C on Sunday, according to the Met Department.
“No significant change in minimum temperature over the next three days; thereafter, a rise of 2-3 degrees over the next 2-3 days is very likely,” the forecast stated. A cold wave warning was also issued for Kutch on Sunday. Temperatures have stabilised in other parts of the country, according to Met officials.
Naliya was the coldest place in Gujarat, with a temperature of 2.5°C, followed by Deesa at 8.8°C and Bhuj at 10°C.
The majority of weather stations reported a minimum temperature of 12°C to 18°C.
