The state government has proposed establishing a museum at the Statue of Unity (SoU) complex in Kevadia to represent Gujarat’s history from ancient times to the present. PM Narendra Modi is said to have asked the state government to build a museum dedicated to Gujarat’s progress.
According to a senior source close to the museum’s planning, “The proposed museum in Kevadia will pay tribute to the state and its legacy by detailing the state’s development and leadership. The goal of this museum is to highlight the state’s continuous progress and the factors that contribute to it.”
Visitors will be educated about the state, its history, a covering of its development from the time of the state’s early days in 1960 to the present, and a view of the state’s rich cultural legacy as they go through roughly 15 galleries, according to reports.
