On Saturday, a man committed suicide by jumping from the tenth floor of a commercial building in Ahmedabad’s Anandnagar neighbourhood. The man was a third-year chartered accountancy (CA) student doing an articleship with a CA firm in Anandnagar.
Ayush Soni, a resident of Malhar apartments in Navrangpura, has been identified as the deceased. Soni, according to authorities, went this drastic measure on Saturday morning. He had left home early on the day he committed suicide, telling his family members that he had an important office meeting to attend. He arrived at the Titanium City Centre at 6 a.m., and after 45 minutes, he committed suicide by jumping from the tenth level.
A security guy who was present in the early hours hurried to the scene after hearing a noise. When the guard noticed Soni laying in a pool of blood, he quickly contacted the Anandnagar police. The police went to the scene, and a preliminary investigation was launched.
Initially, it was assumed that Soni was pushed out of the building, but after CCTV evidence was retrieved, it was determined that he committed himself by jumping off the building.
The police learned from Soni’s family members that he was pleased and that everything was going well in his life; he also had no financial problems. Police are doing additional investigations to determine why he took such serious step
