Previously, many pets died or suffered in pain while their owners stood by because there were few medical facilities or hospitals for them in the country. However, a Gujarati man has taken steps to correct this.
In Ahmedabad, he recently opened India’s first veterinary hospital with a vet ventilator. This multi-specialty hospital is a one-stop-shop for everything pet-related.
According to a report, the man had the idea for a veterinary hospital after losing his dog a year ago due to a lack of facilities in the city. Shaival Desai, the founder of BestBuds Pet Hospital, stated that the idea came to him after his pet dog died, which he described as a very painful loss.
He decided to build the hospital after noticing that his pet was not receiving the best care due to a lack of medical facilities.
Desai is happy and proud that he has finally established a one-stop-shop for everything related to pets. He also stated that the hospital is well-equipped, including rooms, and that all medical facilities for animals, as well as professional experts, are available. He is also pleased that India’s first animal vet ventilator is located in Ahmedabad. It is a veterinary hospital that is not for profit.
Meanwhile, senior veterinarian Dr. Divyesh Kelawaya stated that when the COVID-19 pandemic first hit the country last year, many people abandoned their dogs.
They did this out of fear after hearing that dogs could spread coronavirus. He urged people not to abandon their pets because of such false or fake rumors.
This is not the first veterinary clinic to open in the last few days. To assist injured wildlife, a high lech wildlife veterinary hospital was recently established near the outskirts of Mysore. Wild animals that have been rescued or captured are treated as soon as possible.
