Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel has given in principle clearance to 124 development projects involving Rs 607 crores in Surat, Rajkot, and Gandhinagar under the Swarnim Jayanti Mukhya Mantri Shaheri Vikas Yojana.
CM Patel has given preliminary sanction to 109 projects totalling Rs 581 40 crores in Surat. In principle, approval is granted for allotting Rs 407 43 crores for 60 physical infrastructural development works of drainage, stormwater drainage, water supply, and CC roads, and Rs 149.64 crores for 42 social infrastructural works such as library, fire safety system installation, ward office, civic centre, community hall, health centre multilevel parking, public health laboratory, and so on.
The fundamental approval is also granted for Rs 20 crores for six urban mobility works in Surat, including flyovers, bus shelters, corridor development, and one special identity work of a swimming pool.
CM Patel has given in principle approval to allot a total of Rs 20.79 crores for 12 works, including Rs 10.45 crores for 5 road works, Rs 10 14 crores for 6 water supply works, and Rs 20 lakh for one Anganwadi work in Rajkot city rural villages.
CM Patel has given his consent in principle to allot Rs 5 crores for 3 Shaheri Sadak Yojana projects in Gandhinagar. Swarnim Jayanti Mukhya Mantri Shaheri Vikas Yojana will be used to build asphalt roads in 4 TP schemes, develop new roads, and resurface existing damar roads in Zundal, Bhat, Koteshwar, Koba, Vasna, Hadmatiya, Sargasan, and Radheja in Gandhinagar.
