AMC has asked private premises in Ahmedabad to ensure that people visiting them are fully vaccinated. Places like shopping malls, multiplex, and cinema halls, clubs, gyms, commercial complexes, party plots, hotels and restaurants, religious places, tourist places and large societies would be required to check visitors’ vaccination certificates.
These places must insist on checking visitors (above 18 years age) at the entrance, before allowing them inside the premises. These entities will also have to inform the AMC if the visitor has an overdue second dose or has not taken the first dose.
