From November 15 to 17, autorickshaw drivers in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, will go on strike for 36 hours to protest rising prices of CNG.
According to a report, during its statewide meeting, the Anti-CNG price rise committee on Wednesday made the announcement of the strike.
In October, the prices of compressed natural gas (CNG) were hiked by Rs 1.5 per kg and stood at Rs 62.99 per kg in the city.
Recently, the auto fares were also revised by RTO Ahmedabad with minimum fares increased to Rs 18 for the first 1.25 km and Rs 13 per km henceforth.
