When we talk about a self-sufficient India today, two Vadodara entrepreneurs, Yogesh Patel and Ajinkya Puranik, founded ‘Kavitul Technologies’ with the noble goal of bringing portable medical gadgets to all medical centres and specialists in rural and urban locations.
Their first product was a portable Pocket ECG (Cardiogram) gadget that allowed doctors to obtain a cardiogram report in seconds. This ECG (Cardiogram) equipment, which is even smaller than a cell phone, is receiving a lot of positive feedback both nationally and internationally. This new health tech product, called ‘Doctor Cardio,’ is ISO 13485: 2016, CE, ROHS, and UL certified.
“The device can be connected to a smartphone via a Google Play Store app, allowing the user to receive their cardiogram data in seconds and quickly share it on social media platforms like WhatsApp. It is small, requires no maintenance or calibration, and is powered by a rechargeable battery. We also provide users with a two-year replacement warranty “Yogesh Patel stated.
Ajinkya continued, saying that in a short period of time, they have reached out to more than 350 national and international stakeholders and customers in the medical industry through this startup.
For this, they need the support of Vadodara Startup Studio, a startup incubator and accelerator run by Parul University. In addition, the necessary guidance, industry network support and other assistance to further their platform is being provided under the WAD-X LaunchPad program.
They plan to create an oxygen concentrator, an ICU ventilator, and a digital stethoscope in the future, all as part of the Make India initiative. G. H. Patel College of Engineering and Technology, V. V. Nagar, awarded Aji Puranik a B. E. in Mechatronics and Yogesh Patel a B. E. in IT technology.
