JSW School of Public Policy at IIMA to conduct a policymaking discussion series.

THE JSW School of Public Policy (JSW-SPP) at the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad (IIMA) will inaugurate India 2031: The Decade of Transformation, a “public speaking series” on public policy issues, on November 11, 2021, on the IIMA campus.

Over the next few months, eminent speakers from many sectors will give their thoughts on public policy in India and around the world.

Former India’s Comptroller and Auditor General Rajiv Mehrishi will deliver the keynote address on ‘India 2031: The Decade of Transformation: What India Needs.” Mehrishi, KP Krishnan, IEPF Chair Professor in Regulatory Economics at the National Council for Applied Economic Research, and Parameswaran Iyer, Professor of Management Practice, IIMA, will participate in a panel discussion.

Later that day, NITI Aayog CEO Amitabh Kant will deliver the inaugural lecture, “Public Policy Priorities for the Social Sector – Leaving No One Behind in New India,” in which he will discuss “what India needs to do to achieve SDG 2030 goals and the public policy priorities for the social sector that ensures Sab Ka Sath – Sab Ka Vikaas.”

“India’s next decade of prosperity will need a fresh approach to policymaking that stimulates discussion among the country’s various stakeholders.” “The series intends to bring together professional perspectives and facilitate discussions on cutting-edge policy interventions on what India has to do to make the big and ambitious objective of becoming the world’s third-largest economy a reality,” said IIMA Director Professor Errol D’Souza.
