IndiGo, India’s major airline, said on Saturday that it will launch 12 additional routes in November 2021. The airline, which took flight between Ahmedabad and Jodhpur on November 1 and between Bengaluru and Rajkot, Kolkata and Coimbatore, Delhi and Trivandrum, and Dibrugarh and Dimapur on November 2, will begin serving between Ahmedabad and Ranchi on November 10.
These flights, according to the airline, are intended for business and leisure travellers who are always looking for new and affordable travelling options.
“These routes will boost the connection between the northern, eastern, northeastern, western, and southern regions, increasing trade and business,” said Sanjay Kumar, IndiGo’s Chief Strategy and Revenue Officer. We will continue to add additional routes to meet the demand for travel throughout many areas.”
IndiGo currently operates over 1,400 daily flights linking 71 domestic and 24 overseas destinations with a fleet of over 275 aircraft.
