Ahmedabad police effectively broke the case of a baby abandoned by a man at the Swaminarayan Gaushala in Pethapur close to Gujarat. According to the report, the city police dispatched a huge chase to follow a baby who was deserted by his dad. The charge has recognized as Sachin Nandkishore Dixit. The baby was recognized inside 24 hours by the cops.
While commenting on the incident, a senior police official said, “Reasons behind infant’s desertion will unravel once Nandkishore Dixit is interrogated,”
According to the Gandhinagar police, the locals spotted a child at Gaushala’s gate. After which the kid was taken to Gandhinagar Civil Hospital for a medical check-up.
The team investigating the case swung into action as pictures and visuals were splashed across the media.
Gandhinagar police deployed 14 teams to find the infant’s family. To verify and establish the identity of the infant, the team investigating the case employed technical surveillance and a door-to-door survey, and CCTV camera footage of nearby areas were checked.
While reacting to the incident, MoS (home) Harsh Sanghvi said, “The teams worked round the clock for over 20 hours to crack the case. The first clue was found with identification of the car used in the incident,”.
Sanghvi further noted that Nandkishore lives in Gandhinagar with his parents, wife, child, and the abandoned infant is not the child of Sachin’s wife.
