CREDAI Ahmedabad President Tejas Joshi said the Foundation has been launched to execute the association’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activities.

Among its first initiatives, the Foundation will develop a grand park spread over 22,000 sq mt land owned by Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation near Ahmedabad CREDAI Bhavan near Sindhu Bhavan Road, Joshi announced.

The Foundation will also carry out skill development programmes for construction workers and provide education and food to their children. Plans for setting up a dialysis centre and other projects for public welfare are under consideration.

Addressing the gathering, Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel, who was a real estate developer earlier, said many industries depend on the real estate sector and noted its role in creating a large number of employment opportunities.

“It is important to expedite administrative processes. We are working to speed up Non Agricultural approvals, Real Estate Regulatory Authority permissions, and other mechanisms,” the newly appointed CM said, stressing the government’s commitment to ease of doing business.

He also unveiled the vision book of CREDAI Ahmedabad-GIHED on the occasion. The vision book details the association’s various plans and initiatives for the future.
