When the world is battling against the deadly Covid-19 Pandemic Yoga is a ray of hope.
Yoga is an ancient practice that involves physical poses, concentration, and deep breathing. A regular yoga practice can promote endurance, strength, calmness, flexibility, and well-being.
Shyama Gokani a trained yoga teacher and in Aerial Arts is organising a one-month beginner-friendly program in which students will be working on gaining strength and flexibility.
Shyama said “We will be focusing on Breathing techniques, Yoga asanas, and basic ballet techniques to make you achieve your goals”.
The classes will begin from October 1, online on zoom on Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 5-6 pm.
Shyama said that whether you are a dancer, yogini or a fitness enthusiast, looking to work on your strength and flexibility, this program is for you. Beginners and intermediate practitioners are welcome (age 10+)”.
Students will get to learn Side split and middle split techniques, hip mobility, back arches, shoulder mobility, core strength, introduction to inversions, basics of arm balance.
