Voluntary retirement of Senior IAS officer H K Patel has been approved.He was managing director of Gujarat Food and Civil Supplies department.
Patel who was Collector, Mehsana, before the current posting said that he had opted for VRS due to personal reasons.
As Collector during his tenure he initiated the solar power project at Sun Temple Modhera and development of Vadnagar Railway.
He also served as deputy municipal commissioner at Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation.
