Vadodara: In addition to providing basic amenities with the addition of seven villages within the limits of the Vadodara Municipal Corporation, the corporation conducted a survey to collect tax from the area, which is estimated to generate an annual tax revenue of Rs 25 crore from 60,000 properties.
Seven more villages were added in June 2020, including Vaddala, Bhayali, Bill Sevasi Undera Karodia and Vemali, after the outlaw area was earlier included in the Vadodara Municipal Corporation’s boundaries in 2019.
The Vadodara Municipal Corporation has now taken on the responsibility of providing basic amenities in these areas.
Commercial and residential properties in seven villages were surveyed with a total of about 60,000 properties. It is estimated that the tax revenue of these properties will be estimated at Rs 25 crore.
