Ahmedabad: The open plot of the municipal corporation in Ahmedabad city is being illegally pushed by anti-social elements and bigots. Out of a total of 4,000 open plots in the municipal corporation, more than 140 were exposed to explosive details of illegal pressure. The Town Planning and Estate Committee, which met today, has asked all ward inspectors to fill up a mandatory logbook.
Ordered to vacate the plot within a month and submit a report.
Ward inspectors have also been directed to fill up a logbook within a month and submit a report to the committee that the plot is clear. In addition, the committee has asked the city to open the 18 × 24 meter draft or final TP road if it has not been opened so that the traffic problem can be removed. Instructions have been given to maintain the arrangement of all the community halls of the corporation.
The highest illegal pressure
in the central zone was found in the plots located in the central zone i.e. Kot area. If there is illegal construction in the central zone or the pressure in the plot is high, no action is taken. Is it because of the mercy of the estate officer that they do not break? When the town and planning committee chairman came to know about the illegal pressure on the corporation’s plot, he immediately visited the officials and instructed them to remove the illegal pressure. However, the corporation has also been found to be pushing for such plots as there is no compound wall. The corporation claims that there is no pressure on any of the plots in the north and south zones in the east and in the south-west in the west.
No action is taken against the oppressor who gets the installment on time!
Due to the gross negligence of the estate department of the municipal corporation, anti-social elements pushed into the plot and built or occupied houses as well as huts. The big question is why the corporation system does not take action against them. However, such anti-social elements and occupiers have the connivance of the estate department officials and no action is taken against them as they turn a blind eye to timely payments. Will such illegal removal in open plots in four zones be prosecuted under the Land Grabbing Act with the help of the police?
